After months of speculation surrounding its health, the Canberra forum has been found alive after poster "Egbert" posted something for the first time in months, Egbert writes.
The news comes as a shock to its founder "Lemon" who claims that he never intended the forum to become such an overnight success.
Lemon was still coming to terrms with the revelation when he made this statement.
"Well you know when we started out we just thought we'd get a few close friends together to talk about crap really," he joked, while fighting back the tears. "But then it became so much more and we've been approached by google for sponsorship money but we're happy with our current arrangements."
"The team are just glad that it made an imprint on the psyche of the Canberran community and hope that our efforts are appreciated by all our 27 members."
The reaction from the wider community has all been positive with a survey conducted showing that 97% of Canberrans are happy that they now have somewhere to discuss other capital cities, Canberra infrastructure and post pictures of their favourite street signs.
Rumours of infighting plagued the old Canberra Forum, but the revitalised forum has shaken off these connotations and look all the better for it.
The future is now looking brighter than ever and talks of millions received in advertising for the forum are coming thick and fast with traffic to he site now outranking facebook.
More to come...
